COMPANY BACKGROUND
In September 2008, Peter Rudolph and his wife, Cindy Rudolph, established Off-Med Furniture and Medical Warehouse CC.
As the Managing partner, Peter oversees the day-to-day operations of the business. He has an extensive background in sales, marketing and distribution. He gained this experience by working in various departments at one of South Africa’s biggest stationery and office furniture suppliers for more than 20 years. Cindy manages and oversees the financial management of the business.
Peter’s flair for sales and commitment to excellence is what sets him apart from ordinary business-men. Since the establishment of the business, he has managed to attract several large clients and has delivered on time every time. After leaving permanent employment in 2006 Peter joined a small business where he held 10% share. In a two-year period he managed to increase the sales capacity on the Furniture Line form R 0 to R 2 million.
Providing quality office and medical furniture is not a mainstream business, however the demand for the delivery of this service is very high. Peter understands the demand for quality and excellence, he knows his products, and has seen it work in its environment, this gives the business an unequivocal advantage.
Off-Med is a registered close corporation, it is registered with SARS and their business principles conform to Employment Equity and Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment. The company invests in social transformation by setting aside a considerable amount of its annual turnover to the development of young people from disadvantaged areas.
THE PEOPLE
Our employees are the cornerstone of our business. In order for us to deliver on time all the time we sourced individuals who displayed passion and commitment beyond the call of duty. Off-Med has grown from a small business to a staff complement of over 25 full time employees.
Our staff shares in our ambition to become a leading service provider in this industry. We invest in the continuous training and development of our staff to ensure high levels of competency and personal growth.
THE PRODUCT
Our core business is to supply, install and maintain a complete range of quality wooden and tubular steel Office and Medical furniture. The range extends from school furniture to installed seating and restaurant furniture. To date our catalogue contains at least 300 products and we are confident that we can provide the widest range of products from a single supplier.
Product Specifications
We use standard fabrics from the Cedarbrook range; however other fabrics are available at a surcharge. All our frames are finished in standard epoxy coated colours namely, black, Brown, Grey and charcoal. Other colours are available at a surcharge
Our standard top finishes range from 16mm MDF (Supawood) through 32mm Melamine or Veneer. We also offer Siligna as an option.

Our furniture manufacturers, has assured us of the highest quality workmanship, best materials and on time delivery. In turn Off-Med can assure clients, quality products, unbeatable cost, and on time delivery every time. Our on-site installation team is experienced and delivers professional services dedicated to enhancing the clients business.
WAREHOUSE AND DISTRIBUTION
Our main warehouse and distribution facility is conveniently located in Wetton with direct access to all the major routes within Cape Town. Our warehouse is approximately 1300 m² which means we have the capacity to maintain a large range of products on hand that will dramatically reduce delivery time.
Our own fleet of reliable delivery vehicle means we can delivery directly to the clients free of charge proving clients are based within the Cape Town boundaries.
